Target Mars
On Monday 29th January, six Year 9 students attended Target Mars at Brunel University, with the aim to develop an understanding of how to survive on Mars and life on board the International Space Station through a range of science activities.
After solving several complex puzzles and conducting space-themed experiments, the group was assessed and scored against other teams from different schools.
Uxbridge High School finished as close runners up, with the students having been noted by the lecturers as the most cooperative and supportive teammates, working well under pressure.
