Principal's Weekly Update
It's an absolute delight to connect with you through this newsletter. Today, on World Book Day, I come to you donning the attire of a Golden Ticket. 'Why?' You might ask. Well, allow me to share my passion for two remarkable things: the love for reading and the pursuit of excellence, symbolised by our Gold Standards.
Throughout the day I'll distribute golden tickets to young minds who immerse themselves in reading and here's the exciting part, those who demonstrate a significant increase in their reading habits will earn a coveted spot in our Golden Rewards Assembly at the terms end. We're on a mission to inspire our students to become the best versions of themselves, and we believe in extending this vision to you, our valued parents.
Today, as our students marvel at the efforts put into dressing up, let’s remember that it's not merely about costumes. It's about igniting a passion for reading, fostering engagement and instilling a love for learning that transcends beyond this event.
On the theme of inspiration, let's not forget that tomorrow marks International Women's Day. This year, the focus is on "inspiring inclusion." Imagine a world devoid of stereotypes, gender bias or discrimination. That's the world we envision, and education plays a pivotal role in shaping it.
International Women's Day isn't just about celebrating women; it's about dismantling barriers and paving the way for a more equitable future. It's about empowering all individuals, regardless of gender, to pursue their dreams without limitations.
So, I urge you to engage in conversations with your young ones about both World Book Day and International Women's Day. Please encourage them to embrace excellence, immerse themselves in reading, and champion inclusivity and equality.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. I relish our weekly interactions and eagerly anticipate our next rendezvous. Until then, let's continue to inspire and uplift one another.
