    The ‘working in the city’ workshop at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner on Wednesday 10th October 2018 gave students in Year 12 an insight into business services and support roles within a large city law firm. This included departments such as HR, IT support, finance and accounting, business development and marketing.

  • West London Schools Cup

    On Wednesday 5th December 2018, thirteen Year 8 boys competed against other schools in the quarter finals of the West London Schools Cup at Ruislip Rugby Club. They won an exciting game 45-35, with end to end action throughout. There were some great individual performances, but the boys stuck together to grind out a tough win.

    On Wednesday 5th December 2018, ten Year 10 boys represented Uxbridge High School in the Under 15 handball tournament at Queensmead School. The boys drew one game, lost one game and won a game leaving them in joint second place.

  • EFL U13 Girls’ Football Tournament

    A group of UHS students were selected to represent Uxbridge High School in the EFL Girls’ Cup on Wednesday 28th November 2018. They showed up determined and ready for the match, but unfortunately, didn't make it through to the quarter finals. The students showed great teamwork and had a great day, despite the result.

  • Science Museum

    On Friday 30th November 2018, forty Year 8 students visited the Science museum to gain a deeper understanding of the solar system, the development of telephones and clocks and the effects of climate change and global warming. The students spent the afternoon in an interactive science gallery, where they participated in dry ice demonstrations, lightning strike at a Tesla coil and even travelled through the virtual universe. The day ended with a science show, where students were shown the importance of the mathematical application of prime numbers.
