Science Museum
Students who had performed exceptionally well in the Autumn term were invited to the Science Museum for a day of wonder, which took place on 15th December
They created a plan to get to the moon and back with only the objects in the 'Home' gallery, watched an IMAX movie about ‘Engineering in the Modern Day’ and took a flight into outer space in the ‘Legends of Apollo Simulator’.
After lunch, the students spent an exciting afternoon learning about their place in the world and the way they are connected to the earth through interactive galleries. By the time we got back to Uxbridge, everyone was exhausted but smiling!
